Padbol Leagues in Dubai

Padbol is a fusion sport created in La Plata in 2008, combining elements of football, tennis, volleyball and squash. It is currently played in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States and Uruguay.

In Dubai the United Arab Emirates, EmiratesPadPro, an exclusive right owners and operators of padbol courts has the largest indoor padbol court in the world situated in Dubai Al Qouz 4.

The court is opened 24/7 and hosts activities like Padbol leagues in Dubai, padbol tournaments, kids camping, team building, cooperate events and many more activities.

The EmiratesPadPro Padbol court has already hosted and played One padbol leagues in Dubai and it has planes scheduled to host and play many more padbol leagues in future.

Padbol being a new sports is played by four people, divided by two as opponents. It has options for Service, Ball in Play and Red or Attacking zone.

BASIC PADBOL RULES

SERVICE

The server must stand behind the service line with both feet. The ball must bounce once and then then ball is served into the reception area of the opposite side with a half volley.

The service may also be done by bouncing the ball on the side wall

BALL IN PLAY

Once the service is delivered, the ball is in play and will remain in play until the end of the point.

The players then have a minimum of two and a maximum of three touches to return the ball to the opponent’s side.

ATTACKING ZONE

players are allowed to return the ball on the first touch without playing with their partner.

If a player is in direct contact, fully or partially, with the red one, direct return of the ball is allowed with or without a bounce.

After years of development started in 2008, Padbol was officially launched in late 2010 in Argentina. Fusion of popular sports such as soccer, tennis, squash and volley ball; this sport has rapidly gained support in different regions of the world in a vertiginous growth.

Padbol is a unique and fun sport. Its rules are simple, it is extremely dynamic, and can be played by men and women of a any age group.

The ball bounces on the ground and lateral walls in many directions, which gives the game continuity and speed. The players may use most of their bodies for execution: feet, head, chest, and the legs.
Padbol is currently present in 27 countries and growing in a rapid speed and aiming to be part of the Olympic Games.

In addition to the “normal” public playing Padbol, every day more footballers, individually or the clubs – adopt the Padbol practice within their routine exercises creating a high demand for courts.
